Kayla Owens
Kayla is an import/export attorney whose dormant activism during the Obama years was reactivated when Trump was elected. She became a regular active member of Northridge Indivisible in the summer of 2018 leading up to the midterms, and conquered her fear of canvassing to help elect Katie Hill to Congress. Kayla serves as the State Strong Liaison for Northridge Indivisible. Through CA State Strong, Indivisible groups throughout the state flex their collective power to support progressive and pro-democratic legislation and policies. We recognize that local and state politics is one of the most important arenas to make our voices heard and to affect real change.
